Last year, YOU helped raise the funds necessary to transport our Thunderbird F-16D all the way from Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas to Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum®
in Denver. We’re proud to say Thunderbird 8 – Bureau Number 86-0039 arrived here at Wings last month.
But the mission isn't over.
After years of sitting outside and being used as a maintenance trainer, our F-16D needs some serious love and attention to reclaim her former glory. So, we’re calling all maintainers, aviators, and fans to help fund her restoration and get this legendary aircraft looking great and standing proudly once again – the way she deserves.
Come join us and Dos Gringos, the ultimate Fighter Pilot Band, when they take the stage the Wings Over the Rockies’ Centennial campus for a 2.5-hour, full-throttle set. This isn’t just a concert—it’s a high-speed sortie to save a legend. Rock out, fuel the mission, and help launch our Thunderbird F-16D back into top form!
